Driver dies from injuries after serious crash on Corydon Avenue

The driver of a pickup truck that crashed on May 29 has died, Winnipeg police confirmed Saturday.

The driverof a pickup truck that crashed onMay 29 has died, Winnipeg police confirmed Saturday.

Jordan Allarie, 25, died Friday night after sustaining critical injuries when the Ford F150he was drivingeastbound onCorydonAvenue near Edgeland Boulevard crashed.

Police said it appearsAllarie lost control of the truck and collided with several fixed objects including an apartment building.

Alcohol and speed were both factors in the single-vehicle collision, said police.

The only passenger in the truck, Cody Galbraith, also 25, died soon after the incident.
