Winnipeg man wanted in connection with Elgin Avenue homicide arrested

A man wantedin connection with the death ofTravis Joel Johnson, whose body was found in March, was arrested Tuesday, Winnipeg police say.

Dylan James Mousseau was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, police said in a news release Wednesday.

Officers found Johnson, 37, unconscious withsignificant injuries in a multi-family building near the corner of Elgin Avenue and Isabel Streeton March 10 just after midnight.

He was taken to hospital and pronounced dead.

Police issued a Canada-wide warrant for Mousseauin relation to the homicide and asked the public for help finding him twice.

He was taken into custody on Tuesday.
