Faces changing in Winnipeg's Osborne Village

Osborne Village may be one of the most popular neighbourhoods in Winnipeg but it's still not immune to high turnover for local businesses.

Kustom Kulture just closed.

Bistro by Basil's is closed for restructuring.

The Deadfish Cafe is gone.

And two local businesses were forced out when the Shopper's Drug Mart recently expanded.

Even so, Miles Gouldis opening a new restaurant in the old Papa George's location at River Avenue and Osborne Street in October.

Having a business in one of the hottest areas in the city was an opportunity he couldnt turn down, he said.
