Festival du Voyageur snow sculptures

Each winter since 1970, Winnipeg's French district in Saint-Boniface turns into a winter wonderland to celebrate the voyageur way of life, promote French language and culture and the 'joie de vivre'. Literally a big chunk of the transformation around the city and in Whittier park is the snow sculptures that pop up for the festival.
