Manwin Hotel homicide victim ID'd

A man found dead in the lobby of a Main Street hotel in Winnipeg has been identified as John Blaine Flett.

A man found dead in the lobby of a Main Street hotel in Winnipeg has been identified as John Blaine Flett.

The 50-year-oldwas lying on the ground, covered in blood and not breathing when officers arrived at the Manwin Hotel around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, according to police spokeswomanConst.TammySkrabek.

He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

On Monday, police labelled the death as a homicide. No information, however, has been given as to the cause of death.
