Manitoba's police watchdog is investigating after officers shot a man with a less-lethal firearm who had barricaded himself inside a home in Norway House First Nation on Wednesday night.

The police watchdog is mandated to investigate any injury resulting from police use of a firearm.

Witnesses or other individuals who have information or video footage about this incident are asked to contact the IIU at 1-844-667-6060.
