Winnipeg Jets superfan Len Kropioski, 97, got a standing ovation from fans when he returned to the MTS Centre on Wednesday after a bout in hospital.

Winnipeg Jets superfan Len "Kroppy" Kropioski will be remembered in Kenora, Ontario with a street named after him.

Kroppygot a standing ovation from Winnipeg Jets fans thrilled to see the 97-year-old superfan return to the MTS Centre Wednesday forthe game against the Ottawa Senators.

Len Kropioski,a longtime fixture at Jets games,was backafter being in a Kenora hospital since February.

He was clearly missed, with the Jets rolling out a special welcome for one of their most devoted fans.

Kroppy got a standing ovation from the stadium. Here's the moment:

Kroppy is a Second World War veteran.

He's turning 98 this summer, and the fans can't get enough of him.
