2 new cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba

There are two new cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba, bringing the province's total to 294.

Province's total caseload now at 294; total number of active cases is 14

There are two new cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba, bringing the province's total to 294.

Among Manitoba cases, 14 are considered active, a news release from the province said Thursday.

The new cases are two men from the Winnipeg health region, both age20 to29, provincial data says.

Since the pandemic began, 273 people in Manitoba have recovered from COVID-19; seven have died.

No one is currently in hospital or in intensive care, the province said.

There were 725 tests for the disease completed yesterday, the province says. The total number of tests done since early February is41,191.

Manitoba hadgone five days without a new case before the announcement Thursday.

The province has had five cases over the past 17 days.
