MPI warns of phony customer email survey

A survey popping up in the inboxes ofManitoba Public Insurance customers is not what it seems.

MPI saidit's not behind a recent customer emailsurvey that has been appearing inpop-up windows on Internet browsers. Itadvisedcustomers to not respond to the survey.

The insurer saidwhile it does conduct customer-satisfaction polling, it never does so by email.

The phonypop-up survey promises a gift of more than $50and is intended to generate traffic and sales leads for dubious sites.
