Man stabbed during large fight outside Winnipeg nightclub

A man is in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times during a fight outside a Winnipeg nightclub, police say.

A man is in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times during a fight outside a Winnipeg nightclub, police say.

Police were called to the 200 block of Bannatyne Avenue around 3 a.m. after a large fight broke out.

"We believe there was upwards of about 20 individuals fighting at one point," said Jay Murray, with the Winnipeg Police Service.

Officers found a man in his 30s who had been stabbed several times in his upper body.

He was transported to hospital in critical condition.
