Man turns himself in after pointing pellet gun at traffic: RCMP

A man turned himself into police after pointing a pellet gun at traffic in Spruce Woods Friday night, RCMP said.

Police say no one was injured and the man isn't facing charges

A man turned himself in to police after pointing a pellet gun at traffic in Spruce Woods, Man. Friday night, RCMP said.

Mounties say military police fromthe Canadian Forces Base inShilo, Man. spotted the man pointing the gun at traffic.

RCMParrived a few minutes later to find the man in a residential yard, but he wasn't pointing the gun at traffic anymore.

Police closed the north gate of CFB Shilo as a precaution and redirected traffic away from the area.

RCMP said the man turned himself in within 15 minutes. No one was injured from the incident and police have not laid charges against the man.
