The Winnipeg Art Gallery is showing off some Lego-Roman antiquities.

'Brickstorming' workshop and Lego-inspired movies offered Sunday afternoon for kids

The Winnipeg Art Gallery is showing off someLego-Roman antiquities.

As part of its current exhibit,Olympus: The Greco-Roman Collections of Berlin, the WAG is showing offreplicas of an ancient Greek theatre, a chariot race, a Roman villa, and the Parthenonall built by the ManitobaLegoUsers Group.

On Sunday, June 21, from 1:30 p.m. until 4 p.m., the WAG is hosting a special kids' launch to celebrate the unveiling of the Legopieces. The even will includehands-on activities for families and youth and it's free for kids under age 12.

Practice your building skills in a "brickstorming" workshop,enjoy Lego-inspired movies in the Muriel Richardson Auditorium, and meet members of the Manitoba Lego Users Group and view displays of their past and present work.
