Elmwood blaze burns garage Friday morning

Agarage fire in Elmwood lit up the Winnipeg neighbourhood with a bright blaze early Friday morning.

Fire crews were called to the fire on the 200 block of Union Avenue around 3:40 a.m.

There were no injuries, a city spokesperson said in an email to CBC, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Police tape hung around burned wood and a damaged vehicle after the flames were put out.

Fire crews were called to the same house for a fire at the end of March.
