The Canadian Museum for Human Rights' first temporary exhibit is all about peace.

The display will showcase Canada'swar history, including its role in Afganistan, along with personal stories from Canadians about how they workfor peace. The exhibit wasoriginally developed by the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa.

Spokeswoman Maureen Fitzhenry saidnot everybody will agree with the perspectives, but the exhibit will be thoughtprovoking.

"No one is trying to tell them how to think or what to think about the various actions and pursuit of peace, but what we're trying to get them to dois think," she said.

"Maybe they would see peace, or Canada's actions in a little bit different way than they did before."

The CMHRopens to the public on Sept. 20.

Peace The Exhibition will be on display in the museums Expressions Gallery, a space devoted to showcasingtemporary exhibits.
