Winnipeggers ran, walked and sashayed five kilometres in the inaugural Frontrunners Pride Run this morning.

Winnipeggers ran, walked and sashayed five kilometres in the inaugural Frontrunners Pride Run Saturday morning.

Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, two-spiritied people and their allies got the event startedat 9 a.m.

Participantsranfrom Stephen Juba Park, upWaterfront Drive and over the Provencher Bridge, andfinishing in St. Boniface.

The inaugural fun run was organized as part of Pride Winnipeg, which runs from June 5 to June 14.
