Dennis Oland's second-degree murder trial: Nov. 2

The second-degree murder trial of Dennis Olandcontinues Monday morning after thecourt took a day off on Friday.

Thirtyofficersparticipated in executing search warrants at DennisOland'shomeon Gondola Point Road, the court heard on Thursday.

Rick Russell, who was the lead investigator at the time, said police spent most of the day on July 14, 2011,carefully examining the estimated 20 rooms, basement and attic, as well as the out buildings in teams of two.

Barbara Murray andDouglas LeBlancdescribed seeing Dennis Oland atRenforthWharf in Rothesaythe evening his father was killed.

The witnesses said in an agreed statement of facts presented to the court, that they sawhim pick something up off of the ground and put theitemin a reusable grocery bag.
