Fredericton man dies in motorcycle crash

A 70-year-old man died after losing control of his motorcycle near Dumfries on Friday, according to RCMP.

A 70-year-old man from Fredericton died after losing control of the motorcycle he was driving on Friday night.

The fatal crash occurred on Route 102 in Dumfriesaround 8 p.m., New Brunswick RCMP said in a news release Saturday.

The driver was travelling eastwhen he lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle, the release said.

He died at the scene as a result of his injuries, RCMP said.
