The family of a missing Moncton, N.B., woman is renewing calls to find the 27-year-old.

Jami Springer was last seen walking on Moncton's McLaughlin Drive late in the afternoon of Aug. 31, according to police.

Police have since deemed her disappearance suspicious and called in the RCMP's major crime unit to assist in the investigation.

Last week, Springer's mother Gillian Fletcher released new photos showing Springer's tattoos to help identify her missing daughter.

"She has several types of candy including a Popsicle, Tootsie Roll, a birthday cake, a cupcake and an ice cream cone on one arm [half sleeve], the Lord's Prayer on a front upper leg, the initials 'MJ' in one ear, the name 'MaryJane' on a collar bone and a diamond stud on a cheek," wrote Fletcher on Facebook.

Fletcher said the family has beenreceiving daily updates from the police, who are working hard to find Springer but have not obtained anything concrete.

Fletcher has been posting to Facebook every day since Springer's disappearance.

"It's been over three weeks since my daughterJamiSpringer went missing in theMonctonarea," wrote Fletcher Monday morning."If you know anything aboutJamiplease message me or call me. Thank you for continuing to share this and help us find our daughter."

Former esthetician

Springer's former employer,Jessica Morehouse, said she received several messages since Springer's disappearanceasking whether she knew anything.

"I was as shocked and surprised as anyone else," said Morehouse, who hired Springer almost three years ago to workat Fredericton'sBamboo esthetics studio.

Morehouse said Springer worked for her for only a few months. She believes Springer lived in Fredericton at the time.

"She had graduated recently from esthetics and I felt like she was trying to make a go at it," said Morehouse.

Morehouse said Springer was generally a good employee, but failed to show up to work one morning after she had been drinking, which led to the end of her employment.

"We sat down and we chatted, and kind of went to see if I could help her in any way and encourage her to go into a program to get some help."

"Jami was a troubled girl," said Morehouse."She kind of ducked in and out of Facebook, and ducked in and out ofmoving apartments and such. But for her to be completely missing, I knew it was pretty serious."

Policeare asking anyone with information about Springer'swhereabouts, or who may have seen her or spoken to her on or since Aug.31,to contact theCodiacRegionalRCMP.
