This game show may be the best for romance.

The correct response is: What is Jeopardy?

Well, atleast that's the casefor Saint John teacherMaryanneLewelland her new fianc, South Carolina residentMike Townes.

Lewellwas a semifinalist and the first Canadian teacher to make it to the game show's Teachers Tournament in 2013.

Although she lost her first round by $1, she went home a winner in love with fellow contestantMikeTownes.

The two didn't compete on the same show, but met during the week of filming.

"We had a really great time. We were both sequestered together," Lewell said.

Lewell'sepisode was on a Thursday, and Townes appeared on the Friday show. So they spent time on the setand on the bus to the studio, when they started getting to know each other.

"Well, you know, Iwas cute, so that helps," jokedLewell.

"Yeah, that's not a hindrance," saidTownes.

"We both happen to be kind of nerds, and into the same kind of thing, and with a weird sense of humour, and obviously both smart enough to get on Jeopardy," he said.

The two teachers kept in touch after they left the Jeopardy stage and eventuallystarted a long-distance relationship.

Now the couple plans to marry in the summer of2017 and, of course, the guests will includeJeopardy hostAlexTrebek who was born in Canada and started his broadcasting career with the CBC.

"Oh yeah We'll try," saidLewellabout inviting Trebek.

"I don't know if he'll come, but we'll send him an invitation."

Butthey still need to figure out where they will live and deal with the required paperwork.
