Trial against ex-Saint John councillor continues

CBC reporter Robert Jones is reporting from the defamation trial of former Saint John councillor John Ferguson.

The Ferguson trial has been going on for 24 days.

The Saint John Pension Board is suing Ferguson for allegedly defamatory comments he made in 2005 and onward about the board's handling of the pension fund, which had a $47-million deficit at the time.
