Cain's Quest rerouted due to weather

Snowmobile racers in Labrador will be takinga different routethan plannedin this year's Cain's Quest.

The extreme cold isforcing organizers of the endurance race to reroute competitors.

Organizers said severe weather has created safety risks along the originally plotted route.

Now, when teamsleave Nain they will travelback along the coast of Labrador instead of heading to Churchill Falls through the interior.

There will be a mandatory stopover in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, before snowmobilershead west.
