Dwight Ball's mother his 'great inspiration' and 'mentor'

A life in politics usually starts with discussions around the supper table growing up, and for Newfoundland and Labrador Leader Dwight Ball it was no different.

CBC reporter Peter Cowan has been with the Liberals as they ride around the province in their campaign bus, and caught up with Ball to talkabout the roots of his political life.

In anexclusive interview with his mother Evelyn, who is in her 80s, Ball talks about how his family instilled in him a desire to pursue a life of public service.
