Take a helicopter tour of the damage in southwestern Newfoundland

Port aux Basques has been cut off from the rest of Newfoundland, after a recordstorm washed out the Trans-Canada Highway in four places earlier this week.

The provincialgovernment says it will take at least a week to fix the roads.
