Jerome Kennedy's greatest hits

Finance Minister JeromeKennedy announced his resignation from politics on Wednesday, ending a sometimes colourful career.

Kennedy servedin the Progressive Conservative government as the MHA for Carnonear-Harbour Grace. He was elected in 2007.

Premier KathyDunderdale honouredKennedy during a news conference yesterday, saying hewas theforce behind some of the biggest portfolios in the province, including Muskrat Falls.

He has been finance minister twice, and has also served in the Healthand Natural Resources portfolios. He oversaw the province's response to the H1N1 crisis and recently introduced a controversial budget.
