Ron Hynes fans gather in Bannerman Park for Sonny's Dream singalong

About 400 people cametogether at a park near downtownSt. John's on Saturday to honour the late Ron Hynesand sing his most well-known song.

The crowd joined together to sing Sonny's Dream, the world-famous song that has beenperformed and recorded by countless artistsacross Canada and around the world.

The event was organized spontaneously through Facebookafter news broke Thursday nightthat Hynes had diedat hospital in St. John's.
