Erratic driver charged with impaired driving in St. John's

A 36-year-old man is facing a charged of impaired driving, after failing a breathalyzer test early Wednesday morning.

Police have charged a man with impaired driving, after he was stopped for driving erratically in St. John's.

Officers on patrol noticed the westbound vehicle on Pitts Memorial Drive around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday.

When the driver was pulled over, police found he had been drinking.

The 36-year-old failed the breathalyzer test and was charged with impaired driving.

He was released from custody to appear in court at a later date.
