They're back: Capelin are rolling at Middle Cove Beach

It's slightly delayed, but capelin are rolling at Middle Cove Beach, a hub for tourists and locals alike.

The Town of Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove has long been a destination for lovers of the small fish to fill up their buckets.

On Thursday, people were seen casting their nets into the Atlantic, opening to catch some of the sea of silver capelin.

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans has been keeping an eye on the capelin rolling throughout the province on Twitter, with the hashtag #caplinroll2015.
