Witnesses of C.B.S. double murder offered help

TheRoyal Newfoundland Constabularyand the Salvation Army are offering help to thosewho witnessed a double homicidein Conception Bay South two weeks ago.

BrianDaweshot and killedJulianeHibbsand herfiancVince Dillon before turning a gun on himself Oct. 15.

Inspector Barry Constantine who is with theRNC'scriminal investigation division says more than 20 people witnessed the murders.

All of them have been invited to attend counselling sessions.

"With the level of violence that played out in this situation and the circumstances that these people were witness to, we felt that it was important to not forget about these people and reach out to them," said Constantine.

Constantine said he doesn't believe any children witnessed the tragedy.
