Dawson City contractor sues sewage plant builder

A Dawson Citycontractor is suing thebuilders of the town's sewage treatment plant, sayingit's only been paid half of what it's owed forwork it did on the treatment plant.

Han Construction filed the lawsuit in Yukon Supreme Court just before Christmas.

Lawyers for the First Nation say it had a $5.4 million contract with Corix Construction. The First Nation says only $2.7 million has been paid to date, and Corix has ignored invoices for the balance.

Corix has not yet responded to the claims.

There's no word on when the case might be heard in court.
