Iqaluit RCMP release video of Quickstop armed robbery suspect

Iqaluit RCMP have released images and videofrom security footage of a suspect in an armed robbery at the Apex Quickstop.

Police say a manwearing a blackhoodieand black snow pants entered the store Saturday afternoon just after 4 p.m.

The man produced what appeared to be a pistol at the counter. The store employee handed the manan undisclosed amount of cash from the cash register and the manleft.

Police say the manconcealed his identity by wearing a white, red and black mask.

Witnesses said the manwas Inukand between five feet, five inches and five feet, nine inches tall.
