Nahendeh MLA candidates took questions live on our website November 16, participating in the tenth of CBC North's online candidates forums for the N.W.T. general election.

Candidates for MLA in the Nahendeh constituency took questions live on our website November 16 inanonline candidates forum ahead of theN.W.T. general election.

Seven candidates are contesting the Nahendeh constituency, the most out of any riding in the 2015 election. Nahendeh includes the communities of Fort Simpson, Fort Liard, Wrigley, Jean Marie River, Trout Lake, and Nahanni Butte.

Rosemary Gill, Arnold Hope, Kevin Menicoche,Dneze Nakehk'o, Dennis Nelner, Randy Sibbeston, and Shane Thompson are running for MLA in Nahendeh. All but two Shane Thompson and Arnold Hope attended the forum.

Thompson wastravelling and hada scheduling conflict, whileHope attempted to log into the forum, but was thwarted due to connectivity issues. Both candidates have submitted their responses to the questions asked in the forum, which can be read at the end of the chat below.
