New Iqaluit convenience store on Plateau robbed

Iqaluit RCMP have confirmed the newest convenience store in the city was robbed Tuesday.

The store opened in the Plateau subdivision in late January.

This is the third robbery of a convenience store in Iqaluit in the past three months.

The Quickstop on the road to Apex was robbed at gunpoint in January. In Decemberan employee at the Quickstop in Inuksugait Plaza was held up at knifepoint.
