Nunavut's Francophone school board has agreed to meet with parents who are upset with how cole des Trois-Soleils is being run.

Parents of cole des Trois Soleil are demanding the resignation of the board's directors

Nunavut's Francophoneschool board says it will meet with a group of parents who are unhappy with issues at Iqaluit's French-languageschool, cole desTrois-Soleils.

Earlier this month, more than a hundred parentssigned a petition with 114 signatures demanding the resignation of the board's directors.

The petition was sent to the school board, so far the board has not commented about the document.

The parents are not happy with how the school is being run, including changes to teaching assignments.

In an email to the parents, the board's executive director Rjane Vaillancourt, acknowledges she has received their letter demanding a special meeting and agrees to meet with them.

The board has not yet set a date for the meeting.
