B.C. man charged in assault on Yellowknife taxi driver

Police have charged a suspect in an assault on a taxi driver in Yellowknife on Wednesday.

37-year-old Kamloops man charged with aggravated assault

Police have charged a suspect in anassault on a taxi driver in Yellowknife on Tuesday night.

The driver was dropping off a client at an address in the Kam Lake neighbourhood when police say an altercation ensued.

Paramedics took the driver to Stanton Territorial Hospital for medical attention.

A 37-year-old man from Kamloops, B.C., has been charged with aggravated assault.

He is scheduled to appear in territorial court on Nov.15.
