Air Canada Toronto-Halifax flight 'attacked' by laser

Incident happened yesterday while the plane was on the approach to Halifax Stanfield International Airport.

Transport Canada is investigating a "laser attack" after a laser was pointed at a recent Air Canada flight from Toronto to Halifax.

It happened yesterday while the plane was on the approach to Halifax StanfieldInternational Airport.

Laser attacks can distract or cause temporary blindness in pilots.

One pilot says the laser was coming from the Stewiacke area.

There were no injuries and no damage to the aircraft.

The incident was reported to the RCMP.
