Game of Thrones' Hodor coming to Halifax

Hodor is coming to Halifax.

KristianNairn, best known for the beloved character 'Hodor' on the massively successful HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, will be in Halifax this November for Hal-Con.

Hal-Con touts itself as Atlantic Canada's largest science fiction, comic book and fantasy convention.

In addition to playing thelovablegiant with a limited vocabulary in the television adaptation of George R.R. Martin's best-selling book series, ASong of Ice and Fire, Nairnis also internationally renowned in the music industry.

Nairn has played with a varietyof bands, including theScissor Sisters.He also DJsand works as a music producer. Nairn will be putting his DJing skills to use at Hal-Con, spinning during part of the convention's annual dance.

Hal-Con runs between November 7 and 9.
