RCMP investigating after body found in burned vehicle in Pictou County

RCMP are investigating after officers discovered human remains in anabandoned, burned vehicle inGreenhill, N.S.

The person has not yet been identified and the situation is considered suspicious, police said in a news release Monday.

Officers inPictou County were called toMacLean Road on Saturday afternoon.Const. Dominic Laflamme said the RCMPremained at the scene on Monday afternoon.

He said there was no evidence to suggest any ongoing risk to the public.
