Princess of Acadia ferry's bell sought by Halifax police

The bell from the retired Bay of Fundy ferry Princess of Acadia has gone missing, Halifax Regional Police say.

Halifax Regional Police are asking the public forhelp finding the bell that belonged to aformerBay of Fundyferry.

Police say the bell that belonged to thePrincess of Acadia was reported missing on Sept. 28 while it was docked in Dartmouth.

The ship was retiredthis past summer after40years ofservice between Saint John and Digby, N.S.

Police say the bellalong with other items that were stolenwere going to be turned over to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.
