Police arrest, then release man in Diggs homicide case

Halifax police have arrested and released a man in connection withahomicide in Halifax's downtown bar district, Const. Brian Palmeter said.

Kaylin Todd Diggs,26, was killed early Saturday morning on Argyle Street.

The man, who police are not identifying, was brought in for questioning Wednesday evening. He wasquestioned and released without charge.

Police also say the last of five people who arebelieved to have seen the fatal attack has come forward.

This week, police released photographs of the witnessesin an attemptto identify them.
