Relive Canada Day 2019 on Parliament Hill

The thousands of revellers on Parliament Hill were graced with glorious weather and low wait times on Canada's 152nd birthday. Here are some photos of the day.

Low wait times, perfect weather drew thousands to Parliament Hill

The thousands of revellers on Parliament Hill were graced with glorious weather and low wait times on Canada's 152nd birthday.

More than 56,000 peopleattended over the course of the day, according to the Parliamentary Protective Service.

There was a capacity crowd for the evening celebrations with about 30,000 people taking in the show and fireworks.

The celebrations featured a noon show, and were followed by anevening show starting at 6:45 p.m.and fireworks starting at 10 p.m.
