Key COVID-19 numbers in the Ottawa area today

Ottawa Public Health reported 24more COVID-19 cases Saturday and no deaths. Health officials says anyone who attended 613Lift on certain days earlier this month should monitor themselves for COVID-19 symptoms.

Today's Ottawa update

Ottawa Public Health (OPH) reported 24 more COVID-19 cases Saturdayand no more deaths.

Health officials are also investigating two people who tested positive for COVID-19 and had attended the 613Lift gym while contagious earlier this month.

Numbers to watch

11:Residents who are unvaccinated or who received their first dose less than two weeks ago are 11times more likely to contract COVID-19 thanthose who are fully vaccinated, according to data up to Oct. 8.
