More than 300 people came together at a Sikh templeFridayafternoon to mourn the death of 43-year-old Jagtar Gill and demand that her killer or killers be brought to justice.

The body of the mother of threewas found stabbed multiple times in the living room of her Barhaven home on Jan. 29 by her 15-year-old daughter. It was Gill's17thwedding anniversary.

Gill's niece,RaminderHans, said she is worriedabout the impact on her teenage cousin.

"I just asked 'Is thereanything Ican do for you? Is there anything that you need?' Andshe goes, 'At this moment, I don't know what to feel. I don't know,'" Hans recalled. "I believe she's in shock and when everyone goes back home, to their normal lives, it'sreally going to kick in at the time. Thatrelationship that you have with your mother, it's really difficult for her now, she's going to try to look for that female figure."

It's more confusing for Gill's two youngest children, who are 10 and 8, she said.

Gill's husband,Bhupinderpal, and the couple'sthree children can now return home, after police cleared the crime scene, but Hans said that the family plans to sell the home.

Friends rememberedGill as a woman devoted to family.

"We are proud of her, whatever the life she had.She had a good life. She has three beautiful childrenand Ihope God will give her a place at his feet."

But while tributes brought some comfort, Gill's sister said she hoped foranswers from police.
