Justin Bieber causes stir as he wanders through Ottawa

Justin Bieber proved it's not too late to say sorry returning to the Chateau Lafayette with $100 after being called out by a bartender for failing to tip.

Justin Bieber proved it's not too late to say sorry returning to theChateau Lafayette with$100 after being called out by a bartender for failing to tip.

The pop starcaused a stir on social media on Thursday as he wandered through downtown Ottawa and the ByWardMarketahead of his performance at the Canadian Tire Centre on Friday.

He posted a photo of Clarendon Lanes on Instagram, writing "This kid is rad."

The Chateau Lafayette tweeted that the pop star stopped by for a beer but that his "people" didn't tip.

BartenderAdamScullysaid Bieber had"one small beer" but that his security detail didn't tip. He said Bieberwas "very quiet," though he did hold a woman's baby after she approached him to say hello. "She looked like she was about to faint," he said.

Just after midnight on Saturday, theChateau Lafayette posted on Facebook that Bieberreturned to the bar with $100. "That's a class act in our books," the post said.

On Thursday,Bieber wandered through Ottawawearing overall jeans with just one strap done up just like when he met former prime minister Stephen Harper in 2012.

He was also spotted leaving theTim Hortons on Slater Street and Metcalfe Street.

And at a nearby Laurier Avenue hot dog stand.

Later, he was seen leavingMulligansGolf Bar on Queen Street, near CBC Ottawa. "Please don't the camera in my face like that," he told a CBC Ottawa reporter.

His tour of Ottawa comes days after he announced on Instagram that he wouldno longer indulge fan photo requests as it made himfeel like a "zoo animal."
