Nepean candidate information and riding profile

A redistribution of ridings in 2013 split Nepean-Carleton into two which means there is no incumbent running in the new riding of Nepean and now the riding is up for grabs.

Riding History

The new riding of Nepean. (Elections Canada)
The riding of Nepean was created out of the redistribution of ridings in 2013.

It contains much of what was the former City of Nepean,now part ofthe City of Ottawa.

The riding includes the neighbourhoods of Bell's Corners, Woodvale, Tanglewood, Merivale, Fallowfield Station and Jockvale.

Nepean is a mostly urban riding but it also includes industrial, commercial, suburban and some rural areas.
