While some Ottawa families welcome news their loved ones are safe, others are still waiting to hear from travellers who were in Nepal during the earthquake.

Another missing Ottawa trekker has beenfound alive in Nepal, but some other local families are still waiting for news from their loved ones.

Sam Caldbick, 28, told his wife he was uninjured inLangtang National Park the samemountain region from which another Ottawa hiker,Faye Kennedy, was airlifted with minor injures.

Sarah Brant said herbrother Raj Anthony is missing in that same park but news that othertrekkers have survived gives herhope.

The family of Gatineau'sricLauzier, 29, said Tuesday that they werestill waiting to hear from him. On Wednesday, hisfamily said Lauzier had written a short email saying he's safe.
