St. Patrick's Day parade takes place Saturday in Ottawa

Ottawa's St. Patrick's Day parade begins at City Hall at 11 a.m. on Saturday and ends at Lansdowne Park around 1 p.m. Here's a map of the parade route.

Parts of Laurier Avenue and Bank Street shut down for parade

Ottawa's St. Patrick's Day parade begins at City Hall at 11 a.m. on Saturday and ends at Lansdowne Park around 1 p.m.

To prepare for the parade, the westbound lanes of Laurier Avenue will be closed between 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. from Nicholas Street to Elgin Street.

Laurier Avenue from City Hall to Bank Street, as well as Bank Street toMarchWay atLansdownePark will be shut down to motorists until the parade passes.

The parking garage at City Hall will be open, but theLaurier Avenue entrance will be closed between7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.Motorists can use the Elgin Street entrance during those hours.
