Freezing rain warning over for Ottawa-Gatineau

The freezing rain warning for the Ottawa-Gatineau region has ended after a winter storm brought a messy mix of precipitation and scattered thunderstorms to the area.

There could still be some patchy freezing drizzle this afternoon.

Fog advisoriesfor the Stirling-Tweed and Bancroft areas have also ended.

Hope fortemperatures to climb above the freezing point where you live, but the cold air does tend to hang around in the Ottawa Valley.

Blustery easterly winds will shift southerly by afternoon, but the temperature will struggle to get above 0 degrees.
