Tom Green weighs in on Donald Trump after stint on 'The Apprentice'

With presidential hopeful Donald Trump recently earning the endorsement of Sarah Palin and being the subject of a debate over a possible U.K. travel ban, everyone seems to be increasingly scrutinizing the U.S. billionaire's leadership capabilities.

But it wasn't so long ago that, as the host of The Apprentice,analysing leadership potential was actually Trump's job.

It's something that Ottawa comic Tom Green, who wason the eighth season of the show and was quickly fired from his on-show job selling wedding dresses knows all too well.

'He can get along with anybody'

"Mr. Trump was really mad at me. He was really mad!" Green toldAll In A Dayhost Alan Neal, ahead of his upcoming performance at Algonquin College on Jan. 30.

"He was mad because I went out with [former NBA basketball player]Dennis Rodman on the night I was the project manager," said Green.

"I had to sell more wedding dresses than Khloe Kardashian. But I had a reality show alliance against me."

So Trump doesn't think too much of Green's leadership style but what does the comedian think of Trump?

"If you're not concerned about what he's going to do as the leader of the free world, he's a likeable guy," Green said. "He can get along with anybody."
