Christopher Cross man killed in ATV crash

A 33-year-old man from Christopher Cross was killed in an ATV crash near Church Street in Tignish on Saturday night.

West Prince RCMP say the man was on the ATV alone, travelling through a wooded trail on private property when the vehicle left the trail and rolled on to its side. Police responded to the call of the fatal collision at 9:49 p.m.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The provincial coroner, TignishFire Department and Island EMS assisted at the scene.
