Make Charlottetown Bloom 2015 awards handed out

Make Charlottetown Bloom, a contest put on by the city in conjunction with the national Communities in Bloom Program, has announced its 2015 award winners.

Entries in the following categories are judged on design, variety, colour, features and how they're maintained:

• commercial properties
• birds and the bees
• flower gardens
• window boxes, planters, hanging baskets
• water wise property
• make your bins beautiful
• adopt a barrel
• adopt a corner
• mayor's award
